Thought I’d start a blog….

Hi there!  

I’m Kevin.  I work in technology and have varied interests across the geek/nerd spectrum.  I’m starting this blog so I can have a place to post my various musings about things that catch my interest and would like to share. A few things about me;

I’m a father to an amazing son primary-school aged son who I try to indocrinate in my various interests with differing levels of success.

I’m a music school drop out, but I’m trying to get back into it after having bought a few guitars as a midlife crisis and joining a choir

I’m a huge cocktail nerd and am interested in the history and craft of cocktail making – I once had a cocktail podcast in the early days of podcasting – I maintain that it was probably the first dedicated cocktail podcast in the world!

I’m into a lot of nerdy stuff like games, sci-fi and fantasy books, films and shows and I’ve recently started painting tabletop miniatures with my kid.

I work in technology as a ServiceNow developer/architect, so I’m likely to talk about some aspects of that here.  As a hobby I also enjoy making games in Unity and Unreal (although I’m not very good yet).  I’ve done a couple of Game Jams which have been a hell of a lot of fun.
